Project Summary
Rgen Consultancy is collaborating with World Waternet Laos to implement innovative climate-resilient water infrastructure with nature-based solutions in La District, Oudomxay Province.
The project addresses critical infrastructure that was damaged by severe flooding in July 2022, when a violent storm destroyed the water intake on the Nam Keud River and approximately 3 kilometers of pipeline between the intake and the district's water treatment plant.
Our approach integrates technical infrastructure improvements with ecological watershed management to create sustainable systems that can withstand future climate challenges while preserving the natural ecosystem.
