Project Name:
Asia-Wide Carbon Footprint Assessment for The Asia Foundation
Location:
Remote - Vientiane, Laos
Year of Completion:
Sector:
Climate Action and Carbon Management
Project Summary
From April 2023 to May 2024, we conducted comprehensive greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories for twelve of The Asia Foundation's country offices across Asia, including China, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Korea, and Thailand.
Following the internationally recognized GHG Protocol standard, we measured carbon emissions across all relevant scopes, analyzed emissions trends, and provided actionable recommendations tailored to each office's specific context. This large-scale assessment established a robust baseline for The Asia Foundation's climate action strategy and equipped them with the tools and knowledge to monitor and reduce their environmental impact.
Key Objectives
-
